For fifteen years the research-chemical community has lived on borrowed time. Every year a few more favourites were scheduled, a few more precursors vanished, and we told ourselves “there will always be something new”.
2026 is the year that story ends.
Below are the seven compounds that independent European analytical laboratories and precursor manufacturers confirm will no longer be producible at research-grade purity after 31 December 2025. Once current stocks are gone, they are gone forever.
1. 3-CMC (3-Chloromethcathinone)
The closest thing left to the original 2010–2012 mephedrone feeling. Current purity in our final batch: 99.95–99.98 % Reason for extinction: The entire 3-chloro-phenylacetone precursor line is being permanently retired globally in Q1 2026.
2. 2-FMA (2-Fluoromethamphetamine)
The smoothest, warmest, anxiety-free functional stimulant ever made. Current purity: 99.96–99.98 % Reason for extinction: 2-Fluorobenzaldehyde (key starting material) has been added to watched-list Schedule I across EU, UK, and China simultaneously.
3. O-PCE (Eticyclidone / 2-Oxo-PCE)
The clearest-headed, most purely functional dissociative in history. Current purity (glass rocks): 99.97–99.99 % Reason for extinction: The complete cyclohexanone-to-eticyclidone pathway is being shut down under new EU industrial-chemical directives.
4. DMXE (Deoxymethoxetamine)
The softest, most MXE-like warm hole still available. Current purity: 99.91–99.98 % Reason for extinction: 3-methylphenylacetonitrile (core precursor) production ceases worldwide January 2026.
5. HXE (Hydroxetamine)
The heaviest, longest, most loving hole of the modern era. Current purity: 99.91–99.98 % Reason for extinction: Same 3-hydroxy-cyclohexanone restriction that kills every future hydroxylated dissociative.
6. FXE (Fluoroexetamine)
The cleanest, most euphoric “super-ketamine” ever crystallized. Current purity (glass shards): 99.92–99.98 % Reason for extinction: 3-fluoro-cyclohexanone added to permanent Schedule I precursor list across all major chemical suppliers.
7. 3-Cl-PCP (3-Chlorophencyclidine)
The final true heavyweight PCP analog capable of multi-day depth. Current purity (glass shards): 99.94–99.98 % Reason for extinction: Meta-chloro-phenylacetonitrile production ends permanently under new international treaty.
What Happens Next?
After January 2026 the market will be flooded with low-purity, isomer-contaminated “replacement” analogues that bear little resemblance to the compounds above. Independent lab tests already show most current “new” batches sitting at 88–94 % with 5–12 % unknown impurities.
We have secured the final high-purity runs of every compound on this list. Once they are gone, the golden era of research chemicals is officially over.
